Stepping Into Spring with Gratitude and Joy
If you follow me, you know how much I love my job. Even after all these years, I’m still surprised by how excited I get when preparing to create beautiful new portraits for my clients. Since our studio is committed to serving at the highest level, it’s tough when a client feels disappointed. In the rare times that happens, I have to remind myself that I’m not chocolate—so not everyone is going to love me. But when we go through our normal process of prepping a client for their session, and they still end up feeling anything other than excited, it makes me sad and disappointed. The first thing I do is reflect—what went wrong? What can we tweak to make sure this doesn’t happen again?
