Ending 2024 on a High Note

When I was 16, I became a child star as part of an all-star cast on a hit Israeli teen TV show (think Saved by the Bell meets Glee). I was on the show for two years before leaving to serve in the IDF. At the time, an acquaintance said to me, “That’s it for you. Being a child star was your peak. Where can you go from here?”
I always thought that was such a strange thing to say. I mean, I was just beginning.
Since then, my journey has taken me through so many meaningful chapters: earning a degree with honors, working as an international photographer, experiencing unique shoots in incredible location, writing a photography book, and even publishing the My Dog Rocks! book to raise funds for local dog rescues. These are just a few of the moments that have shaped my career, and each one has been a stepping stone to where I am today.
Now, as 2024 comes to a close, I am so honored to share that Rinat Halon Photography has been named Best Portrait Photographer in Orlando for 2024!
This recognition means so much because it reflects the love and trust you, my amazing clients, have placed in me. I can’t thank you enough for your votes and support—it’s truly a testament to the incredible connections we’ve built together through the portraits we’ve created.
Looking back, I’m struck by how much I still love what I do, even after 28 years in professional photography. It’s such a gift to see how the work I love can bring happiness, hope, and confidence to others.
This year has been personally challenging—so much so that I plan to write a book about it one day. But here’s what I’ve learned: even in the toughest times, we’re capable of extraordinary things. Winning this award during a year like this is proof that what happens around us doesn’t have to define us.
As the Rinat Halon Photography studio team prepares to take a much-needed break until January 2nd, I want to wish you all a joyful holiday season and a wonderful New Year. The best is yet to come!
