Mead Botanical Garden is a 48-acre urban oasis nestled in beautiful Winter Park, in the heart of Orange County. This vibrant green space offers a peaceful retreat where visitors can explore nature trails, wetlands, gardens, and wildlife habitats—all just minutes from the city. The Garden is open daily from dawn until dusk and is free and open to the public. Mead Botanical Garden is made possible through a unique partnership between the nonprofit Mead Botanical Garden, Inc. and the City of Winter Park. Together, we work to preserve, program, sustain, and beautify this cherished natural space for the enjoyment of all.
