About Us

Astor & Associates is a boutique senior care consulting firm helping families navigate Medicaid and long-term care with clarity and confidence.

Led by founder and Medicaid Long-Term Care Strategist Michelle Astor, the firm draws upon more than 20 years of experience across skilled nursing, Medicaid, elder law settings, hospital systems, and care management. Michelle also holds a degree in Health Services Administration from the University of Central Florida.

From care management and coordination to senior living placement, and long-term care guidance, Astor & Associates helps families understand their care options, coordinate appropriate resources, and make informed decisions as their loved one’s needs evolve. Rather than leaving families to manage a fragmented and often overwhelming system alone, Michelle serves as a trusted guide—bringing the people, services, and information together to create a clear path forward.

Astor & Associates also collaborates with healthcare professionals, elder law attorneys, senior living communities, and other trusted advisors, serving as a reliable resource for the families and professionals it supports.

Michelle is also the founder and host of *The Caregiver’s Table Podcast*, where caregivers, professionals, and community leaders come together for meaningful conversations about caregiving, aging, and the decisions families face along the way.
