Young Naturalist Explorers: Wetlands!

Join Mead Botanical Garden's Young Naturalist Explorers class, Sunday, February 16, 2025 at 9:30am to learn about Wetlands! World Wetlands Day is celebrated February 2nd, but we will honor and celebrate our Mead Garden Wetlands together on Sunday, February 16th. Come join us to learn about wildlife and plants that live in the wetlands and explore dip netting in the creek, soils and plants of Mead Garden Activities: dip netting in the creek, discover and learn about soils, and plant explorations. What to bring? Be sure to wear water resistant shoes. Topic: – Wetlands Instructor: Marcia Anderson Date: Sunday, February 16, 2025 Class Check-In: 9:15 A.M. Class Start Time: 9:30 - 11:00 A.M. Location: Discovery Barn, Mead Botanical Garden, 1300 S. Denning Drive Winter Park, FL Cost: $10 *We recommend ages 5-12, but the family is welcome to tag along! Parent participation is not required, but a parent or guardian must remain onsite for the duration of class.
