Under the Sea Musically - A CFVA Production Class

Join us for CFVA's Spring Musical - Under the Sea Musically! Featuring musical selections from The Little Mermaid, High School Musical, Finding Nemo and more! This production class is for ages 8 -14: With a focus on holistic performing arts training, students will enjoy singing, acting, dancing, production and more! All experience levels are welcome and students will be challenged in a nurturing environment with both group and individualized instruction. Rehearsals will take place on Mondays for 13 weeks, culminating in a public performance of Under the Sea Musically! for family and friends to enjoy. Rehearsal and Performance Schedule: Rehearsals: Mondays from February 13th - May 1st, 5:30 - 6:30PM *No rehearsal on Monday, March 13th* Dress Rehearsal: Monday, May 8th, 5:30 - 7:00PM Performance: Monday, May 15th. Student Call Time: 5:30PM. Show Start Time: 6:15PM (approximately) This show will be cast and roles will be assigned, therefore participating students are allowed no more than 2 absences. Students that miss more than 2 rehearsals may have their role reassigned and be recast as ensemble. All participating students must attend the entire dress rehearsal on May 8th and the performance on May 15th. At the first rehearsal, students will learn a brief vocal excerpt, acting side, and movement combination. This will serve as their audition and casting will be announced by the second rehearsal. We believe every student has something special to contribute to the show and we will do our best to ensure each student has a moment to shine. Rehearsals and the performance will be held in Audubon Park, and the exact location and address will be sent out at the time of enrollment. CFVA's Spring Musical - Under the Sea Musically! is a package course that costs a flat rate tuition of $325 or two installments of $162.50.
