Her compositions balance structure and emotion, creating visual blueprints that hint at memory, movement, and tension. Karlene McConnell offers a softer, more fluid counterpoint. Her paintings flow with organic shapes, atmospheric color, and meditative brushwork inspired by nature and movement. Each piece invites viewers to pause and feel the subtle energy within her layered surfaces. We are also delighted to welcome Maria Kruschewsky as our newest guest artist for Pattern & Pulse. Her contemporary paintings fuse bold chromatic shifts with delicate, rhythmic mark-making, creating surfaces that feel both energized and contemplative. Kruschewsky builds richly layered compositions that reveal themselves gradually. Each painting pulses with quiet intention, offering a vibrant complement to the structural precision of Zalisko and the organic fluidity of McConnell.
