Pancakes and the Power of Your Voice

On Sunday, April 23rd, Central Florida Vocal Arts and Audubon Park Covenant Church invite the whole community to join us for a morning to make a difference. Together, CFVA and APCC will host a pancake breakfast, with live entertainment from the cast of CFVA’s upcoming production of The Secret Garden. The breakfast will conclude at 10:30 AM with a vocal workshop for attendees, presented by CFVA Founder and Executive Director, Theresa Smith-Levin. Tickets for the pancake breakfast are available for a suggested donation of just $6 for children and $10 for adults, and include pancakes, sausage, coffee, iced tea and juice. Tickets are available on half hour seatings from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM. A portion of all proceeds will benefit Central Florida Vocal Arts and the sustainability of programs that ensure equitable access to meaningful arts experiences for EVERYONE in our community. As Collaborative Campaign participants, funds raised for CFVA will receive a 15% match from United Arts of Central Florida, ensuring each gift achieves the greatest impact. With the campaign closing April 30th, this is the perfect opportunity to connect over impact and make a last minute gift. Audubon Park Covenant Church and Central Florida Vocal Arts forged a relationship in 2021 as a host venue for Summer program offerings and have continued to collaborate for the past two years. At a time when there is much division, APCC is a welcoming, inclusive, and diverse church community that celebrates our whole community. The morning will conclude with a vocal workshop that will allow attendees to explore their own unique voice, and take artistic risks. This workshop is designed for all levels and no previous singing experience is required. Attendees will leave with full stomachs, music in their hearts, and inspired to use their voice for good, knowing that just by joining us for breakfast, they’ve made a difference!
