DESCRIPTION:Winter Park favorite\, Fiddler's Green Irish Pub\, proudly presents their twelfth annual Fiddler's Green 5k. Starting at 7:30 A.M. at Mead Garden\, the 5k run/walk winds thru the shaded tree lined streets of Winter Park. Then following the 5k\, everyone is invited back to Fiddlers Green Irish Pub for breakfast and a free beer- live Irish music\, Irish dancers and a fun time for all! The Fiddlers 5k is about more than the run and the beer it is about the opportunity to benefit local charities. Over the years these runs have included many great charities\, with this year's beneficiaries being the Conductive Education Center of Orlando (CECO) and Habitat for Humanity. Over the past 11 years\, the 5k has raised over $250\,000 for local charities. This year's run will feature numerous ways to be engaged in community impact including a 5k race\, a Pint sized race (.5k)\, and opportunities to support runners and teams\, donate from home\, and even run from home! Registration for the 12th annual Fiddler's Green 5k\, opportunities to volunteer\, and more information is available at fiddsgives.org.
